·        Review and validate Information Technology’s strategic and business planning process and provide advice and recommendation to SFC’s strategy

·        Develop and monitor Information Technology’s strategic and business plans

·        Establish target setting goals and validate Information Technology’s scorecard

·        Drive the design of overall Information Technology development strategy in coordination with SFC Executive Management

·        Support SFC’s business goals by providing input and ensuring adherence to operating budget for Information Technology

·        Contribute key insights to annual Information Technology’ planning and budgeting process, and provide advice and recommendations to SFC’s annual financial plan, budget and budget control report

·        Ensure IT architecture and standards are developed and implemented in line with the highest quality standards and monitor the SLA’s

·        Ensure professional advice and support are provided to all levels of the company on the full range of IT issues to ensure that the IT capability of the business is optimized

·        Oversee the identification of opportunities for serving SFC’s departments and using IT software and hardware solutions

·        Ensure IT training is provided to SFC departments on IT solutions to enhance business processes and increase solutions’ efficient utilization

·        Monitor new developments in the field of IT and advise the management about appropriate, cost-effective business IT solutions which could enhance or replace existing systems

·        Ensure effective and robust control and make sure that security systems are implemented to safeguard and protect all operations and data integrity, as well as the smooth functioning of the business

·        Oversee all IT operations so that it meets and exceeds the service levels agreed upon with users and conforms to relevant technical and security standards while remaining within budgeted cost

·        Identify opportunities to reduce cost through in-house software development and customization

·        Lead in sourcing, selecting, negotiating and securing agreements with suppliers, to acquire best terms, conditions, and quality deliverables in order for SFC to attain best value per IT investments

·        Oversee Information Technology’s budgeting cycle and lead the budgeting process

·        Direct Information Technology effectively within budget, and report accurately on progress made and challenges encountered

·        Formulate strategies that result in positive financial impact for SFC and mitigates financial and operational risks

·        Prepare, submit and justify budget enhancement requests to SFC’s CEO

·        Recommend improvements to departmental policy and direct the implementation of procedures and controls covering all areas of department activities so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service to customers

·        Help instill a culture of development, guidance and performance within the organization

·        Guide, mentor and develop the team to take larger and complex responsibilities

·        Identify and recruit key talent for the function

·        Provide clear top-down communication to employees and bottom-up feedback to the Management

·        Set performance objectives, provide necessary support, evaluate / appraise Managers, and provide regular feedback on performance

·        Promote a high-performance working environment and promote AGC's values

·        Stimulate subordinates and contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices taking into account "international best practice," improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement

·        Ensure compliance to all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls across the section in order to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance and a responsible environmental attitude
