Responsibilities:
Operational Management
Ensure the receiving, issuing and disposal of stores’ stock isundertaken in accordance with Company procedures at all times.
Ensure correct and timely capturing of delivery notes and requisitionsby the stores assistant(s).
Process all new stock take on and ensure that bins are allocated forthese new stores.
Establish and manage systems to always monitor the stock andinventory in the store including current stock levels.
Ensure minimum and maximum stock thresholds are alwaysmaintained.
Initiate the ordering of replacement stock when minimum stock levelshave been reached.
Ensure that inventory is organized to facilitate accessibility and safetyfor those working in the store.
Plan and manage regular stock takes to ensure reconciliationbetween records and actuals.
Interact regularly with Business stakeholders to implement optimalinventory levels to balance service levels and the inventory cost to theCompany.
Plan and manage the periodic physical counting programmed tosatisfy internal control requirements.
Conduct regular spot checks and ensure that system and actual stocklevels balance.
Communicate occurrences of failures, theft and losses andparticipate in investigations and actions to prevent recurrence.
Proactively identify and report on overstocking, understocking or outof stock scenarios and resolve promptly.
Continuously improving processes to increase stores efficiency andreduce costs.
Prepare and provide monthly inventory reports as deemed required bymanagement.
Provide a full report on all stock outputs on a weekly basis.
Maintain the protective clothing file and ensure that all items issuedto personnel are recorded.
Safety and Security:
Manage the systems for always safeguarding the stock in the stores byensuring that there are adequate security systems in place.
Always enforce health and safety rules.
Ensure all material safety data sheets are maintained according tohealth and safety standards.

§Familiar with ERP systems such as WMS (Warehouse Management System) MicrosoftDynamics PC literate- able to use Microsoft Office – essential for reporting.
